Junior Winter Training


Our coaches will work with athletes on conditioning and technique during the colder weather to prep them for spring rowing. Workouts will include erging (rowing machines), weights, and/or cardio on the White Pine Trail when weather permits.

February 5th through March 22nd

Week 1&2: 5:00-7:00 Mon, Tues, Thurs

Week 3-7: 5:00-7:00 Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri

March 23 – FHC Sprints, Grand Rapids, MI

Home Athletes – Guaranteed Roster Spot– All athletes 8th-12th grade and attending a school without a rowing team.

– All athletes who rowed their most recent season (Spring/Fall) at GRRC (regardless of school).

Away Athletes – Waitlist – Please select “Pay Later”, until notified by coaches

8th – 12th graders attending a school with rowing programs (Northview, Rockford, Lowell, Forest Hills Eastern, Forest Hills Northern, Forest Hills Central, East Grand Rapids) and did not row their most recent season (Spring/Fall) at GRRC.
